A massive two-handled trophy cup, the recto engraved "Rogers Rock Cup" and "Tyega Motor Boat Club / Motor Boat Race / July 4, 1910" with applied ship's wheel and enameled pennant, the foot engraved "Presented by David Williams" and the obverse engraved "Won By," the entire circumference of the cup features a finely detailed maritime scene with various boats and figures acid etched to the surface, a button for the John Frick Jewelry Co. of New York is placed over the original manufacturer's mark to the underside.

The Tyega Motor Boat Club was formed in Ticonderoga, New York in 1908. Rogers Rock, named after an American colonial frontiersman and soldier, is found on the northern end of Lake George.
