Unmarked later pull after a 1742 model by J. J. Kandler, hand-painted relief molded decoration on all exterior planes, the lid displays a profile of the Roman emperor Augustus amid arms while the bottom and sides are given to additional classical war trophies. The box's interior is plain, however the lid's underside shows a battle scene.

This year the box may be considered a fitting memorial to Augustus on the 2000th anniversary of his death, which occurred on August 19, A.D. 14.
