French, late 19th century, whimsical models of (2) youngsters wearing an Oriental guise utilizing cabbage leaf helmets, and their mother's robes, posed in marching formation, likely created by the porcelain factory during the time of the Boxer Rebellion. Open fists suggest each boy carried a staff of some type. Underglaze blue mark to rear of base.
