The is the original sculpture, completed in 1957, from which five bronze sculptures were cast. A copy of the catalogue, MARIANNA PINEDA: SCULPTURE - 1949 TO 1996, from a 1998 exhibition at the Boston University Art Gallery, is included with this lot. Plate 19 of the catalogue shows a bronze version of this sculpture.
