19th century, salt glaze, the first a cream riser (7 in.) (large rim chip; traces of paint to body); the second a 1 1/2 gallon jar with stylized tulip decoration (12 in.) (two hairlines approx. 3 in. long extending from rim; small hairline at base; some kiln debris); the third is ia (4) gallon crock, applied ear handles (14.5 in.) (large rim chip with 9 in. hairline from chip; chip to one handle); the fourth is of (3) gallon capacity (spider hairline to side; large rim chip; other small defects).
