Likely Russian, early 20th century, the first of banded agate (2.25 x 4.25 x 2 5/8 in.), the second of spinach jade with lavender and rust tones (1.75 x 3.25 x 2 in.), each with gilt metal mounts and matching stone ball feet.
The jade box with crack to top and loss to one corner, no bottom; the agate box with small loss to one corner and break to opposite corner of top.
