Late 18th / early 19th century, fruit wood case, porcelain dial with Roman numerals with a silvered repousse surround, arched hood with applied molding and side windows, waist with long lipped hinged door, chamfered corners with lambs tongue, molded base, pendulum has an enamel double headed eagle with Austrian shield marked "F.I.," this most likely denoting Hapsburg ruler and Holy Roman emperor Francis II, 1792-1806.
