French Clock Garniture With Hollow Cast Bronze Columbus Figural

Late 19th century, the seated explorer holding a globe labeled "AMERIQUE," the clock to his right having a plain porcelain dial, brass time and strike movement marked "T.A & B / 6790" is visible through a rear glass portal, the whole mounted on a carved oak base with bronze appliqués and flanked by conforming garniture. Pendulum and two keys are included.
