Circa 1780s, Italian, two part form, solid Carrara marble, the top with molded edge, the tapering column carved with a waisted band over an out-swept plinth base, one side of the base has a scalloped lower edge.

From the Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Richard Epes at the direction of Gerald A. Jeutter, Jr., the court appointed Receiver for the Southeastern Eye Center of Greensboro, North Carolina.
