One page on vellum, oblong folio, Richmond, January 17, 1787, granting 786 acres in Harrison County (now West Virginia) to John Powers, signed lower left with embossed Virginia seal affixed. Some years later, Randolph would serve in Washington's cabinet variously as Attorney General and Secretary of State.
