Lars Bo was born in Denmark and eventually moved to Paris, where he remained to practice art. This rare suite presents Bo's illlustrated interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. The textual portion of the story at the beginning of the portfolio contains translations in French, Danish, English, and Japanese.

Foxing to cover sheet and some illustrations with several faint foxing marks, otherwise sheets in crisp condition with strong impressions.
