The London Chronicle, January 16 - 19, 1762, 8 pages, small quarto, the lead story on the front page is a call by George III for a "General Fast" as Britain and Spain go to war. The second story moves to South Carolina and examines in depth the arrival of Cherokee notables at the fort in Ninety-Six and claims that "the Cherokees behave with great humility and submissiveness."
