18th or 19th century, gilded copper, one four-armed Prajnaparum and a four-armed Sadakeari, each seated on pierced double lotus bases with holders on the back of each, these two sculptures would have accompanied a central Buddha, Prajnaparamita embodies the Dharma, and Sadakshari Lokeshvara the Sangha, in Buddhism these Buddha-Dharma-Sangha groups are considered the "Three Jewels."

Good estate condition with some rubbing, wear and loss to gilding as expected with age; remains of red polychrome paint in some crevices.
