Circa 1900, decorated with a stunning array of lacquer techniques, this chest stands on six legs which are capped in metal, the top of this chest is removable, decorated with delicate patterns of flowers and paulownia crest, the crest used by the Toyotomi clan, chest may have been used to store armor or kimonos.
