Meiji period, late 19th - early 20th century, signed on base and has an etched four petal flower, very finely carved and detailed ivory figure of a man with basket on his side holding food and in his hand he has a spyglass to his eye which is depicted wide open, very large in size and appears to be separate pieces of carved ivory fixed together, comes on square wooden base.
