Property from the Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Gimesh, Fayetteville, NC

Modeled on the M1855 rifle, the Fayetteville was produced by the Confederate government with Federal machinery captured at Harpers Ferry. The rifles' "CSA" markings and overall high quality make the Fayetteville a favorite among collectors.

Working action; metallic elements lightly cleaned, moderate pitting to barrel and lockplate near breech; date on barrel is completely obscured; the stock with expected scuffs and dings, but overall free of losses and cracks.
