Bearing the maker's mark "G.B" for Geradus Boyce of New York, NY (active ca. 1820-1857), unique flared form with applied die-rolled decoration, engraved inscription reads "Adriana E.P.M. Tucker / Presented by her Aunt / Sarah P. Maybie / 1834." Several silver pieces by Boyce are in the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
