French, circa 1950, of substantial form, the case is hinged to stand on its sides when in use, the exterior composed of classic monogram canvas trimmed in natural leather and with original brass fittings and locks (working lock with key) and exterior wood batons, the interior fitted on the left side with six original hangers, the right side composed of five graduated drawers, each with original two strap lock closures to hold clothes in place when traveling, the bottom drawer with various fittings to store necessary accoutrements and accessories, the outside finished with original hand painted monograms spelling out "M" and "C.B.M." respectively, completed by original decals from Holland Lines applied in several areas to the canvas.
