Late 18th century, probably South Germany, interesting form whereas the top board slides backwards and the writing board, just below it, slides forward revealing a well backed by short drawers. The desk is fronted by three side-by- side faux drawers, the outside ones having sliding panel top above a well and short drawers, the case raised on slender cabriole legs.
