Circa 1840; the teapot and lidded sugar bowl each marked "Tenney," "251 B.Way," and "W&H," these two pieces were likely made by Wood & Hughes and retailed by William Tenney in NYC; the cream jug marked "Tenney" and "251 B.Way," likely indicating that it was made by Tenney to match the other two pieces. Each with period bright-cut script engraved monogram "LAH" to one side.
