Early 19th century, fine mahogany with poplar secondary, the hood features a broken arch pediment terminating in brass rosettes centered with a brass eagle finial and three panels of satinwood inlay, above a hand-painted metal face with Arabic numerals, a humble farm house painting over the "12" with floral clusters in the corners. The face has a second hand, time and wind and date apertures, brass works, and is flanked by fully turned columns. The waist door is of tombstone shape faced with flame mahogany veneers, and flanked by turned quarter columns, the case raised on a delicate bracket foot base with light wood string inlay.
