The first designed as an owl composed of satin finished gold sitting on a branch, each eye set with a peridot (.75 x 1 in.); the second designed as a love bird set with a pair of small red stone eyes and turquoise, sapphire, and diamond detailing to the branch (1 x 1 in.); and the third also designed as a bird on a branch set with petit round single cut diamonds (1 x 1.25 in.). Each mounted in stamped and/or tested 14KT and 18KT gold respectively.

Estate of the late Dr. Stewart Penfold Blake of Palo Alto, CA and Charlotte, NC Stewart Penfold Blake (Col. USArmy Ret.) was a proud soldier, superb story-teller, lover of music from Mozart to Benny Goodman, gracious host, wine connoisseur and knowledgeable art lover. Among his many proud accomplishments were his design of the test track for Porsche in Stuttgart, Germany and his design for carrying Venezuelan oil from the fields to the sea. His estate represents his life in appreciation of history and diverse cultures.
