Late 18th/early 19th century, of rectangular form with a hinged and ratcheted surface that lifts up and forward, the case with a full width drawer, which, when opened, reveals a leather writing surface which is also hinged and ratcheted, flanked by lidded compartments for implements, supported by straight legs with molded edge.
