Centering on one Ceylon blue star sapphire (18.0 x 17.0 x 12.38 ) prong set and surrounded by (12) bezel set round European Cut diamonds and an outer halo of (36) bead set round European cut diamonds (weighing approximately 1.68 total carats, VS1 clarity, G-H color) in its original platinum mounting; the later under basket and ring shank are 14KT white gold. AGL Report CS 54612 of April 29, 2013 states the origin of the ring is Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and there is no evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.
