Collection of a Lady, GovernorÕs Club, Chapel Hill, NC

A particularly wonderful example of an Art Deco evening gown.

In good condition given age and use; there are several pulls to black crepe throughout, none of which are severe; one seam on the proper right front side has started to loosen and become undone, although this is not very noticeable; the sheer fabric on each sleeve in remarkably sound condition with little to no wear to the fabric itself, although several areas within the lines of beading and a few small rhinestones are deficient, however this is not seen when worn due to the movement of the fabric and does not effect the overall beauty of the dress.
