The Collection of Barbara Rhoades, Hillsborough, NC

Directly from Steichen to Rhoades family to consignor, grandniece of Katherine Rhoades

The image is in very good condition. There are a few small linear defects apparent on close inspection that appear to be in the negative. There is a small crease to the extreme upper right corner. Interestingly, there is a small crescent shaped defect in the right margin of the image that appears consistent with a small thumbprint, likely Steichen's, that may have been left as an artifact at the time of printing.
