The Collection of Barbara Rhoades, Hillsborough, NC

Directly from Steichen to the Rhoades family to the consignor, grandniece of Katherine Rhoades

Family history indicated that Steichen was a more than occasional visitor to the Rhoades family and their estate in Connecticut.

There are multiple fine, linear abrasions to the surface of the image, mostly on the left side, most apparent in raking light. There is some foxing to the lower part of the tissue mount.
