Late 19th century, the ebonized case set with a multitude of hand-painted enamel plaques featuring mythological scenes, the lower plinth with long drawer above with two doors open to reveal three interior drawers, the center cabinet flanked by two columned porticos protecting young satyrs, the whole surmounted by a gilt bronze figure of a child wearing a conch helmet, gilt metal ormolu mounts and finials throughout.
