Cica 1830, two-part form, mahogany and book-matched mahogany veneers with white pine and poplar secondary woods, the upper section having an applied rope twist to the cornice above glazed doors flanked by turned over spiral twist Corinthian columns; the bureau has two convex drawers over four flush drawers flanked by carved honeycomb and spiral twist columns, raised on bun feet. The bookcase and bureau appear to be associated pieces though a very attractive combination.
