The okimono is a modeling of jointed acrobats suspended from bars, which tumble over each other when the rod is rotated, bone with two ivory bars (3.5 x 4.75 in.); the well-carved ivory netsuke is of a macabre theme, depicting a skeleton atop a skull (1.75 in.) with unusual mother-of-pearl signature disk affixed to the bottom.
