Late 19th - early 20th century, monumental eight-part form consisting of a base, an urn and a lid united to form a dramatic figural composition. The base is a writhing dragon shooting flames upward to support a relief decorated urn having two dragon handles; the lid is cast as a rocky crag topped by a defiant eagle eying the dragon handles as they seemingly creep up from below. Bronze throughout with applied patina.
