Oil on canvas, lined, depicting the glamour and fashion of the 1930s of a couple dressed in elegance and sharing a special evening with a bottled beverage prominently displayed. The lovely blonde model for this illustration was Georgia Kyser and painted shortly after her arrival in New York. Presented in a white floater frame. Called "heir apparent to the artistic line of Norman Rockwell and J.C. Leyendecker", Michael Dolas was known for capturing the glamour and detail of the Golden Age of Illustration. His illustrations were featured in Saturday Evening Post, in which his work graced three of its covers, Cosmopolitan, Collier's, Redbook, among others. In 1939, Dolas was the only artist to be listed in the Top Ten Young Men in America" by the New York Times.
