Peru, oil on stitched two-piece canvas, cartouche in lower right reads "B. V." above an illegible line which might be a date, the seated subject wears rich brocades and a tri-color feather headdress, presented on its likely original stretcher, set into a richly carved polychromed wood and gesso frame having an inner border incorporating (43) small mirrors.

SS 14.75 x 10.5 in.; DOA 24 x 19.75 in.
