Circa 1840, cherry with desirable old surface, extensively carved, the scrolled headboard features double panel, each tall post with elaborate turnings and acanthus carved detail, the bed resting on boldly turned feet. Retains original rails with knobs for rope attachment, the rail height 17.5 in.
