New Jersey Federal Inlaid Tall Case Clock

Early 19th century, possibly William Dawes School, mahogany and mahogany veneers with light wood matchstick and line inlay, the hood is detailed with a broken arch pediment, brass rosettes, and ball finials above a painted metal face. The face with time and chime wind as well as date aperture in front of brass works. The waist door with fine patera. Clock was in working condition while in consignor's home and is equipped with pendulum, weights, lock and wind keys.

Repair to plinth; new glass; cracks to both sides of hood; front feet re-built; repair to cove-molding at left side below face. Not guaranteed to be in working condition.
