Including: (2) portrait etchings on laid paper by Mukul Dey (Indian, 1895-1989), the first dated in the plate 29-10-15 (Image 7 x 5 in.; Sheet 12.5 x 9.5 in.), the second dated in the plate 25-10-15 (Image 5 x 7 in.; Sheet 9.5 x 12.25 in.), each inscribed by the artist in pencil "1st State" and "To Mr. Leich from his friend Mukul C. Dey." (3) works by Stanislaw Szukalski (Polish/American, 1895-1987), the first a graphite on wove paper portrait signed "Szukalski / 1916" (Sheet 10.25 x 9.5 in.); the second an etching of a grotesque bird signed and dated 1916 in the plate (Image 7 x 4 5/8 in.; Sheet 9.5 x 7 1/8 in.); the third an etching of a bug-eyed dog, signed in the plate "Szukalski / 1916 VI" (Image 8 7/8 x 6 7/8 in.; Sheet 10.25 x 7 5/8 in.). (4) works by Hans Koyemann (German), the first a graphite self-portrait signed and dated 1951 (Sheet 9 x 7 in.); the second a graphite self-portrait inscribed "The bombs have spared me because of my beauty" (Sheet 7.75 x 5 5/8 in.); the third an engraving on wove paper, signed "Koyemann" in the plate, signed and inscribed in pencil at lower right "to dear Mr. Leich" (Plate 11 3/8 x 9.75 in.; Sheet 18 7/8 x 14 7/8 in.); the fourth a watercolor on wove paper signed "Koyemann" (Sheet 17.5 x 14 7/8 in.) (3) works by an unidentified artist; the first an etching on blue laid paper with watermark, monogrammed and dated 1914 in the plate, pencil signed (Image 10.75 x 5 3/8 in.; Sheet 12 x 9.5 in.); the second an engraving on wove paper, monogrammed in the plate, pencil signed (Plate 3.25 x 2.75 in.; Sheet 7.75 x 5.75 in.) (with split to paper at plate mark); and the third an etching on laid paper, monogrammed and dated 1914 in the plate, pencil signed, charming scene with skaters (Image 6 7/8 x 11 5/8 in.; Sheet 9 3/8 x 12.75 in.)

Both Dey and Szukalski were members of the Chicago Society of Etchers. The identity of Mr. Leich is yet to be determined.
