Late 19th century, probably New York, mahogany with chestnut secondary, top with foliate relief carved border, supported by central fluted column on raised carved base, each corner of table additionally supported by wide rope twist leg raised on relief carved block and bun foot. The table expands to 193 in. when using its 11 leaves, each leaf (with matching relief carved border) 12.5 inches in length. Included are two poplar carrying cases for leaves.
