Late 18th century, mahogany, the foot posts of tall tapered reeded form with carved tobacco leaf motif at the base, supported by a spiral twist baluster terminating in Marlborough feet. The head posts of tapered pencil post form flanking a shaped pine headboard, with tester top and scalloped and tasseled floral fabric draperies. Bed skirt included in the lot.

The posts and carvings are in very good condition. Where the rails attach to the posts is in fair construction - they can't be tightened and need reconstruction. The headboard shows wear. Overall wear and scuffing.
