Likely New Orleans, circa 1830-40, mahogany and mahogany veneers, the tall tapering clustered posts, blocked at base, support a flared ogee molded cornice on tester (the underside with pleated starburst fabric) shaped headboard and footboard and side rails, the former with applied central carved cartouche, the latter with acanthus carvings. With custom box spring and fitted mattress.
