Wear to covers, internally fine; Dunglison, Robely, A DICTIONARY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE (Philadelphia: Blanchard & Lea, 1860), 992 pp. plus advertisements, octavo (9 x 5.5 in.), calf coves, free endpaper pencil inscribed by R. C. Carlisle M.D. of Newberry C.H., SC. Dr. Carlisle served as Assistant Surgeon of the 7th SC Infantry, CSA and would have undoubtedly have had this reference with him in the field. Covers worn and stained, internal foxing. Overall good condition.
