NC Slip Decorated Redware Plate

Attributed to Piedmont North Carolina, late 18th to early 19th century, lead glazed earthenware with polychrome floral decoration. The plate is centered with three tall stemmed flowers, the wide rim enhanced by stylized blossoms and swags in a brown, green and cream palette. The decorative elements exhibit some details similar to Alamance County examples.
