English Water Bottle and Basin

Second half 18th century, tin glazed earthenware likely from Liverpool. The bottle is of globular form with a tall neck, decorated in blue with large flower heads and diaper pattern below the spout (9.75 in.). The basin is decorated in the Chinese taste both interior and exterior, the bowl raised on a short straight foot (4 x 10 5/8 in.). An assembled set.
