Dated 1887, Ohio, walnut, the paneled back with four relief carved stylized sunflowers, open arms with ball finial and baluster supports, seat with hinged lid over interior compartment, the base with left side relief carved 1887, the front and right side relief carved in the foliate motif of the Buckeye, state tree of Ohio.
