19th century, possibly Irish, flame mahogany veneers and light wood inlay, having a brass face cornered with pierced spandrels, time and chime wind, and date aperture (not functional). The waist door features handsome marquetry of an 18th century hunter surrounded by banded inlays, the base is decorated with shell marquetry, raised on an arched bracket foot base. With weights, re-built pendulum, case key, (face key lacking).

Case interior retains remnants of a paper label from an Irish restoration firm.

Loss and chips to hood plinths; finials do not appear to be original; works likely replaced; veneer shrinkage cracks to lower portion of case front and sides. Not guaranteed to be complete or in working condition.
