As follows: Franklin D. Roosevelt, Typed Letter Signed on personal letterhead, one page, 11 x 8.5 in., New York City, August 7, 1924, to H. T. Newcomb, New York. It reads, "I am very remiss in not having acknowledged your letter of June 20th more promptly, but in those crowded days before the Convention when it arrived my mail jumped to about five hundred letters a day, many of which required immediate action. I was very much interested in reading the article you enclosed on the abrogation of the two-thirds rule, and appreciate your sending it to me." Presented with an FDR portrait in a modern wooden frame to an overall 16 x 19 in.; Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford signatures framed with portraits, both to an overall 12.5 x 8.5 in.
