The ovoid body raised on four cast and applied legs with hairy paw feet with acanthus motif to ankles and anthemion terminus, all supported on a shaped quadruped base with suppressed ball feet; the body with egg and dart motif to shoulder and meticulously cast and applied acanthus leaves at juncture with double arms. The underside of base and side of burner each with Möllenborg's mark and dated 1838. The removable cover with pomegranate finial having earlier marks (1813) and "AZ" maker's mark.
