Including a pair of pedestal bowls with scalloped rims, decorated in blue underglaze with various warriors and scholars in a landscape, Xianfeng mark to base of each (5 7/8 x 7 1/8 in.) (both with two hairlines to bowl, several scattered chips and flakes to rim and foot); the third item a bowl with cover, hand-painted Imari style decoration featuring feathers and good luck symbols, the bowl and cover each with underglaze Guangxu dynasty mark (5.25 x 7.25 in.) (flake to rim and wear to gilding on rim of bowl).

Estate of Captain Ben Blee, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina Captain Blee acquired much of his collection while serving as U.S. Naval attachŽ in Singapore and Malaysia in the late 1950s.
