Circa 1820-30, mahogany frame, the crest rail, carved with stylized plumes, sweeps downwards to rolled arms having carved tassel decoration to the supports, the velvet upholstered seat raised on boldly carved bulbous feet.

Hairline to both front feet; some veneer cracks and loss especially to the seat rail; later back bracing.
