The first an Imperial Austrian Model 1910 officer's shako, retaining Bruder Zietzer / Wien label under crown, felt over board construction, having stamped brass double-headed eagle plate, gold wire on short bill. Crazing to leather, minor insect damage to felt, the pom pom not original to the hat; the second a Spanish Carabinero hat, pre-1940, tan felt, with Francisco Fuentes/ Madrid imprint under the crown, the plate displays the arms of Castille and Leon. Liner somewhat loose, fracturing to leather band along the hat's base; the third a French Republican Guard shako, 20th century, with the arms of Paris on its shield. Scuffing to the patent leather crown, else very good condition.
