"Bonaparte," Paris, August 22, 1800, one page, partially printed, folio, countersigned by Minister of War Carnot and Secretary of State Hugues Maret, a military commission appointing Louis Marie Vincent a Surgeon Second Class in the 2nd Regiment of Foot Artillery. The embossed paper seal of the First Consul is affixed to the lower left corner. Presented in a gilt wooden frame with a complete translation en verso.

SS 17.5 x 14 in.; DOA 22.75 x 18.25 in.

The manuscript ink is somewhat faded, but entirely legible. Not examined out of the frame.
